Mantex panels can be classified as natural sound absorbers: they have a good sound absorption level, especially at the higher frequencies which are the most common, while, to improve performance at lower frequencies, it is useful to insert a layer of mineral wool in the interspace or use composite panels with rock wool. The research activity, and the desire to identify solutions to increasingly high performance, has made it possible to provide the designer with a large database of sound absorption certificates.
Wood-wool panels promote the well-being of users, especially in crowded buildings. Through a series of certificates of naturalness, they are certified environmentally friendly by ANAB-ICEA and natureplus that guarantee the non-harmfulness to health; they are tested as free of critical emissions of carcinogenic products, formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds VOC and asbestos, and comply with the standards of the regulation for the production of false ceilings, UNI EN 13964.
Mantex Acoustic Wood Wool is fire resistant and is type-approved as protective cladding with a class 1 coating.
